Frank sent out information about organizing a scenic ride for the group on the Heber Creeper on Saturday, July 31 at 11:00. Contact Frank soon and let him know whether or not you are coming so he can reserve a caboose or passenger car. So far, over 25 cousins have signed up. Even if you are not going on the train ride, please let him know.
Here is the information Frank emailed:
- it's a one-way trip about 1.5 hours down Provo Canyon featuring "breathtaking scenery",
- if we act quickly enough we can charter a caboose, but we will not have a steam engine (it's going in for rebuild after Mem Day),
- if we get 50 people, cost would be $21 pp (w/ discounts for those over 60 and kidz younger than 12) which would incl bus trans back to depot, if we get 75 people we can charter a coach,
- the train offers food and beverage throughout the ride in the "full service snack car".
Please send an email to Frank at fjlynn@netscape.com and let him know whether or not you want to take a ride on the Heber Creeper.
Shake loose your caboose and all aboard for Park City!
